Welcome to The Hotel Avra!

The Hotel Avra is situated in the village of Benitses, in the south part of the Island of Corfu, just off the west coast of mainland Greece.

The original Avra was opened in the 40’s by the local Spinoulas family and featured in the book “around the world with 20 dollars”!

Now it has been taken over and partly re-furbished by the Monro family, Andy, Sarah-Jane and Jamie. We are hoping to keep up the “family” tradition and warm welcome!

The Hotel Avra currently has a one star rating and 16 rooms, including twins and doubles. It is ideally situated, being only just over the road from the local beach and close to the main centre of Benitses, where you will find tavernas, bars, supermarkets, local bus stops, the Corfu shell museum, Historic buildings, marina, and play-ground.

The hotel has a small car park, but spaces are limited. There is public parking within 150 and 250 metres. The hotel does not have a private swimming pool, but we do have an arrangement with a local pool for our guests to use!
