JANUARY 6TH - EPIPHANY

CLEAN MONDAY -

We all take to the beach [weather permitting!!] to eat a picnic with the special bread only made for today and to fly a kite!!!

CARNIVAL-

For the four Sundays before Easter there are carnivals all over Corfu, with the biggest being in Corfu town - there are floats and dancers and costumes galore!

In Corfu this is celebrated with lots of parades of marching bands, choirs and dance troupes - last year was a huge success!

NORTH IONIAN REGATTA -

Last Saturday in October

All of the local yacht companies and lots of locals compete in this regatta which starts in Gouvia marina and goes around Vidos island and back again !
